The timezone fingerprint

Satoshi's posting hours were used to guess his location. You can compare CFB's posting rhythm against the real Satoshi account yourself.

The thread. One classic Satoshi clue is when he posted. His activity showed a consistent quiet band (a sleep gap) that researchers used to argue for a North American timezone — awkward for a supposedly Japanese or European creator.

Points toward / against Satoshi

This is the one thread you can test directly. Open the database’s Analytics → posting-time comparison, tick the real Satoshi account against cfb (his forum years) and Come-from-Beyond (his Qubic years), and read the quiet windows.

Two cautions: Satoshi stopped posting in 2010 and CFB’s data is mostly 2012+, so you’re comparing different years; and people travel, change habits, and post from phones. A rhythm match is suggestive, never decisive.

Deliberately left to you. It’s real evidence, but soft, and we’d rather you read it than be told the answer.
