Leans toward Satoshi1 min read

He knew the 32 MiB → 1 MiB secret

CFB recalled, confidently and repeatedly, an obscure 2010 detail about Bitcoin's block-size limit — and why Satoshi set it.

The thread. In 2013–14, Come-from-Beyond stated something most people didn’t know: Bitcoin’s block-size ceiling “was lowered from 32 MB to 1 MB by Satoshi in early days of Bitcoin.”

Points toward Satoshi

He didn’t just know the fact — he knew the reasoning: Satoshi added it so “the blockchain would [not be] bloated and Bitcoin would be abandoned.” He returned to it for years (“It was 32 MiB until Satoshi changed it to 1 MiB, wasn’t it?”). This is a deep-cut piece of 2010 lore — the kind of thing you know if you read Bitcoin’s source like scripture, or wrote it.

Points against

It is learnable. The 1 MB limit and its history were public and much-discussed by 2013. A obsessive reader could know it. Knowledge of a system is not authorship of it.

Weight

On its own, modest — public knowledge, confidently recalled. It gains force only alongside the commit-habit knowledge (next thread), which is far less casual.
